Yıldırım Elektronik was established in Ankara at 1986 in order to support our country to take its rightful place in the years, when the foundations of many technological infrastructures used today are laid and electronic industry started to grow with great acceleration. With its establishment, it started its activities as the most important spare parts, components and test equipment supplier in the sector.
With the idea of transferring technical training lessons to applied experimental platforms, it started producing vocational training sets in accordance with the international curriculum and international standards in 1993. In 1998, it established its factory which is manufacturing vocational training sets in Ankara.
It has established its R&D devision in 2000, in order to make further developments on its own products, and to increase the added value it has brought to the national economy by multiplying with its multiplier effect; and has been conducting its R&D activities in its R&D Office at METU Technopolis Silicon Block since 2004.
Currently, to a wide range of industries and electronic based sectors, such as; defense industry and subcontractors, consumer electronics, aerospace and automotive, subcontractors, lighting, renewable energy and battery, electronic production, R&D / Engineering, telecommunications, security, communications, education and the public, serves a wide spectrum.
